2023 Wedding Cake Price List - We have a £400 minimum order on all wedding cakes and our 3 tier cakes start from £340.

We specialise in offering bespoke personalised cakes that can’t be bought in supermarkets. Our cakes stay fresh for approximately 3-5 days from delivery. Leftovers can be frozen.

​

Flavours We offer a number of different flavours such as: Madagascan Vanilla, Lemon, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Orange, Mint Chocolate, Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, Orange, Toffee, Cherry Bakewell, Coconut, Banana, Banana & Coconut, Peanut Butter, Coffee (with or without nuts), Carrot (with or without nuts), Ginger, Marbled Vanilla & Chocolate, Rich Fruit Cake (contains alcohol). Wedding Cake Prices:

All wedding cakes are delivered and set up at the venue, delivery charges will apply. We deliver up to 50 miles maximum from Tamworth.

Wedding cake pricing is bespoke to each cake starting from £340. The price will depend on the amount of size of the cake required, the amount of detail and time taken to make them. We also offer different options for flowers depending on your budget, these can be sugar flowers, fresh or silk. We no longer offer cupcake displays but can make cupcakes to go along side your cake.

We also offer dummy cakes for extra tiers for that wow factor of having a large cake. Please note that these are only slightly cheaper than an actual cake due to still using the same amount of icing and it will take the same amount of time to decorate.

All of our wedding cakes are covered in white chocolate ganache before icing. This is a thin coating that won’t add much flavour to the cake but it will give them a more professional finish that is crisper and a smoother appearance. Icing is put over the top of ganache.

​

Egg Free and Vegan cakes are now available, please ask for a price list on these. Only Available in certain flavours. Gluten free is not currently available.

Allergens - We do not currently cater for anyone with food allergies as gluten/wheat, eggs and nuts are all used on the premises.

Wedding Favours - We offer shortbread biscuits, truffles, macarons and cupcakes. Please enquire for more details.

We require at least 4 weeks notice on wedding cakes. You can never book to far in advance, we currently take orders around 18 months in advance. A £100 non-refundable booking fee is required to confirm all bookings. The remainder is to be paid 6 weeks prior to the wedding. Payments can be made in instalments if preferred.

Sweet and Delicious is registered with the Environmental Health Organisation and has a 5* Rating. Sadie Jones holds a level 2 Food Hygiene Course and we are covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

The conditions set out here constitute our terms of sale. Please contact Sadie for clarity on any matter which is not clear or do not understand before paying your Booking fee and note that nothing contained here affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Sweet And Delicious Cakes pride ourselves on offering high quality products and first class customer service. We are a registered business and have a 5 star rating from our local E.H.O office as well as being fully insured. By making a Booking fee payment you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

Timescales

We will endeavour to do everything we can to accommodate your order however we work to a maximum number of cakes per week and will not compromise quality through greed.

Usually 3 months’ notice for wedding cakes and 4 weeks for celebration cakes is sufficient, with less notice required during the winter months.

Customer Satisfactions Guarantee

Should you be unhappy with the cake we will do everything we can to rectify the matter before the event. If you are still unsatisfied then we will refund the price of cake in return for the product.

If there is a design problem the cake is to be photographed and e-mailed within 24 hours of the cake being collected or delivered. Situations where the cake is eaten, and therefore not returned, vouchers may be offered.

If you have a complaint about the taste of the cake then a sample is to be provided within 24 hours.

Check your order

While we take every measure possible to check orders it is also the responsibility of the customer to make sure the details on the order form are accurate. While we will do everything we can to rectify the situation when an error is made i.e. wrong date then the responsibility lies with the customer to check the details.

Booking fee and Payments

Once the order is placed the Booking fee (From £75 for wedding and large celebration orders or from £20 for other cakes) is non-transferable and non-refundable.

The order is confirmed on receipt of the Booking fee and no guarantees can be given on availability until the Booking fee has been paid.

Balances for wedding cakes are due 28 days before the wedding and for novelty cakes 7 days before the event.

In the event of cancellation, any work already completed is chargeable. Cancelled orders with less than 28 days’ notice are payable in full. Booking fees cannot be returned except under exceptional circumstances. If the event is cancelled due to epidemics such as Covid we will try and honour a new date and move the booking to that date. If we are unable to accommodate the new date and the event was cancelled due to government restrictions then the Booking fee will be returned. If the event is outside of these restrictions then the Booking fee will not be returned.

Alterations to Orders

Any alterations to the original order must be confirmed in writing and may be subject to an additional charge. If you need to reduce the size of your cake please give us as much notice as possible. Changes to the size with less than 28 days’ notice are payable in full.

Delivery

When a cake is to be delivered it remains the responsibility of the company while in transit. Where any damage occurs then it is the sole responsibility of the company to make good any damage. If this is not possible, for whatever reason, then a refund will be given. Once delivered the cake is then the responsibility of the person or venue the cake is left with and we will not take any responsibility for any damaged caused after the safe delivery.

Collection

As you will appreciate that once the cake leaves us then responsibility then passes to the customer and the company is not liable for any damage in transit. Please be aware that a flat surface is required to retain the stability of the cake and should be secured where possible to remove the risk of movement in transit.

Best Before Dates

When preparing some cakes, especially larger ones, the cakes need to be in prep for two sometimes three days before the event. While we do everything to ensure that the cake is as fresh as possible for the event the best before dates are usually within three days of the event.

If storing the cake before the event do not put the cake in the fridge as this will affect the quality of the sugarpaste and finish, store in the box provided in a cool dry place.

To assist in prolonging the shelf life after the event the cakes are best placed in a sealed container (this will damage a sugarpaste finish) in the fridge. We do not accept liability for consumption from three days following the event.

Non-Edible Decorations

During the design process the customer will be informed of any non-edible decoration that will be used to construct the cake. The customer must relay this information to the venue / hosts.

Allergen Warnings

Nuts:- Please note our cakes are made in an environment where nuts and nut products are used.

Dairy Products: - Please note our cakes are made in an environment where milk, eggs, & dairy products are used.

Gluten or Wheat Produces: - Please note our cakes are made in an environment where gluten and wheat produces are used.

Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements before booking, we are unable to accommodate certain allergens.

Copyright

The design copyright is the property of the company. The customer does not have any claim on the design.  The company reserves the right to use images of any design for promotional purposes following the event.

Methods of Payment

Methods of payment accepted are Cash, Paypal or a Bank Transfer. Any charges incurred through Paypal need to be met by the customer. Bank Details Sadie Jones 20-85-13 00145580

Any personal data received from you at the time of booking shall be kept confidential and will not be forwarded to any other companies. Your details will only be used to contact you regarding your order.
